The conference of Association of Turkic world’s filmmakers that took place in Istanbul within the dates of 17th and 19th of December finalized their work. The Kazakh delegation including the president of “kazakhfilm” studio Arman Assenov, “Kazakhfilm”’s Managing director Kanat Torebay and also the well-known filmmaker Rustem Abdrashov held an active work on building the international liaisons in film industry. One of trip’s main achievements is that Arman Assenov joined the Executive Committee of Association. The decision on his membership was unanimous.

Firstly, a film made by “Kazakhfilm” studios commissioned by the Ministry of Culture and Sports will be screened as part of the 3rd Guwahati International Film Festival program, which will be held from October 31 to November 6 this year in Asama (India).
