The shootings of a romantic love story under the working name «My Sinful Angel» (Overcoming) have begun. «It is a film about love», the executive producer of a picture Kuanysh Ahmetov has noted, the shootings pass in the streets of Almaty.

On July, 20th the press-service of  the"Kazahfilm" film studio named after Shaken Aimanov and journalists have visited a set of an adventure film under the working name "The Realtors" by young and talented director Adilhan Erzhanov. For the director who also is the author of the script, this film became a debut in the big cinema. He made short-footage films which were a success on foreign film festivals before this project.  Now he tries himself at the big cinema making the fantastic adventure comedy.

July, 14th, 2010 Hollywood stars Adrien Brody («Thin Red Line », "The Pianist", «The Village»), Mark Dacascos («Crying Freeman», « The Crow: Stairway to Heaven », "The Nomad") and Armand Assante ("Judge Dredd", " The Odissey", «The Mambo Kings ») have visited “Kazakhfilm” cinema studio named after Shaken Aimanov.
