On the 7th May, at the Defender of the Fatherland Day JSC "Kazakhfilm" named after Shaken Aimanov organized a charity screening of the first Kazakh film on the youth policy of the First President of Kazakhstan called "Дорога домой" for the orphanage №1 and private educational institutions for orphans SOS Children's Village Almaty in one of the theatres of Astana “Cinema Towers”.

Film “Bauyr” directed by Serik Aprymov and produced by JSC “Kazakhfilm” named after Shaken Aimanov received Award of the Federal Foreign Office for "artistic originality which creates cultural diversity" (4,000 euros) at the 14th edition of the goEast film festival which was held between April 9-15 in Wiesbaden.
