From September, 21th till September, 25th, 2010 in Almaty the VI International film festival "Eurasia" have taken place.

On September, 20th in “Almaty Cinema Towers”  complex two press conferences dedicated to opening of VI IFF "Eurasia have taken place.

On September, 14th, 2010 in Almaty at the “Caesar” cinema the presentation of documentary film “Baurzhan — the son of the Kazakh people” by director Kalila Umarov has taken place.

On September, 13th, 2010 NTV “Kazakhstan” begins the translation of the first full-scale 12 series Kazakf-Turkic  serial “Astana – the love of mine!” in Kazakh language. The  Russian version took place in July on “Khabar” TV channel and had a great success.

On September, 2nd in "InterContinental Almaty" hotel  the press conference devoted to VI International film festival "Eurasia" has passed.  There were the president of JSC "Kazakhfilm" named after Shaken Aimanov, the chairman of festival Organizing committee Ermek Amanshaev, art director Gulnar Abikeeva, and the chairman of selection commission Baurzhan Nogerbek.

26th of August JSC "Kazakhfilm" named after Shaken Aimanov presented the premiere of a youth drama “The Tale of Pink Hare” by Farhat Sharipov. The premiere  passed at “Мega” cinema complex.

On August, 21st, 2010 has passed a match on minifootball among workers of a "Kazahfilm" film studio and film crews on the cup of Shaken Aimanov. In a football match participated six commands: «Zhenis», "Tsifrovik", "Atazhurt", "Hozu", «OPS» and "Kacheli". The professional arbitrators from the Kazakhstan Football Association were the jury.

Director Tohtar Karsakbaev has started shootings of the melodrama under working title "The Swing". The film tells the story of a young man which returned from army.  He reconsidered his outlooks on life, and relations with childhood friends.
