    - For the first time I was at a film festival of this level. After watching the film, people came up and thanked me and the whole film crew for this picture. I am grateful to fate that after half a century I returned to the cinema site and played a major role in such a wonderful film, ” said actor Muratzhan Mukazhanov.

The actor said that since childhood he dreamed of acting in films. In 1965, fate brought him to the Kurmangazy Institute of Arts. Young actor studied at the theater faculty in the studio of the People's Artist of the USSR Hadisha Bukeeva.

    - The first time I visited the set in 1967, I starred in the crowd in the film by Alexander Karpov, “The Road of Thousand Miles,” as well as in the film “My Brother” by Abdulla Karsakbaev. In the 70th, for family reasons, he returned to Semey, then he was taken into the army, ” recalls the actor.

After the army, Murat Mukazhanov, at the invitation of the director of the local school, worked as a military instructor, at the same time was engaged in amateur performances - staged performances in the theater. Today, the actor lives in Almaty, he has 6 grandchildren.

Recall that the picture "Shyrakshy / Guardian", shot by the “Kazakhfilm” film studio jointly with “Tursunov Film” LLP by the order of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, tells about a young soldier who receives a movie camera as a gift from an old German. After the war, already being an old man, he travels to villages and shows old films to everyone, because he believes that through art and cinema in particular, the world can be changed for the better.

It is worth noting that the cameraman Martin Sechanov was also awarded the prize of A. Knyazhinsky "For the best cameraman work in full-length cinema."
